I was honoured and thrilled to be asked by ALARM to write an article for their April Stronger edition. Entitled Unleash Your Superpowers, it highlights how the neurodiverse* add value in the workplace.
What can you do ensure that the power of neurodiverse talent is recognised and fully realised in your organisation?
*The language of neurodiversity is evolving all the time. Whilst in this article I have used the term ‘neurodiverse’ to describe conditions such as ADHD, autism, Tourette Syndrome, dyslexia and dyspraxia, I could equally have used the term ‘neurodistinct’ for individuals whose brains, in essence, function and interpret information differently to the average person. People with these conditions tend to excel in some areas but find some things much more difficult.
